Well, last nights blog had me determined to do something with my day today. I did take a 1/2 hour walk around the neighborhood at 6:00 this morning. Had Cameron to the orthodontist by 8:00. Then came home to mow the grass, do dishes, dust, vacuum, and pick up living room, dinner and 4-H meeting. Not too bad. I just cannot get past this anxious feeling that I am having that something is about to happen-something bad......don't know what, don't know when, but I just feel it. I pray every morning noon and night for the security of Scott's job. I pray for the health of my family and friends and their family and friends. Is HE listening? I just don't know.....and that scares me the most.

Start of a New Week

As of right now, I am bound and determined to get my butt motivated tomorrow morning! As of right now, I plan on getting up with Scott in the morning and go for a brisk walk and be done before 7:00am. As of right now, I plan on watching what I eat-starting tomorrow. I have pigged out all weekend long, I'm freakin' miserable, and I only have myself to blame. As of right now, it all sounds like a grand plan......we'll see how it sounds at 5:30am!

Relay for Life

Friday night I spent the night at the fairgrounds participating in the Relay for Life. Attached is a pic of me & Chad the next morning....I guess someone from the newspaper took this and it was online. Obviously I had no idea my picture was being taken! and I have no idea who the guy is.....his spot was next to ours and all I know is that he hula-hooped all the time!

Week One

Well, it is now Friday and it has been a "week" since the kids have been out of school. I think we all had a melt-down at one point or another today. Cameron woke up screaming at me when he didn't like what I had to say to him, Clay didn't like what I had to say to him either. Chad didn't want to quit playing with his toys when it was time to leave and run errands today so after we went round and round I took his toys and put them in a trash bag.....he will get them back when he earns it.....that could take awhile. Things have calmed down now. Clay is mowing a friends yard, Cameron is outside playing with some friends, and Chad has found some different toys to play with.

Tonight I will be spending the night at the fairgrounds doing the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. Our 4-H club will be doing it with another team. The plan is to stay up all night with the kids in the club, but our camper is out there in case I need a little nap:) I'm sure it will take me all weekend to recuperate!

day 1

Well, I have survived the first day of summer break. Chad talks too much, Cameron pouts too much, and Clay sulks too much! No, it really wasn't that bad. I think we will go to the library tomorrow and see what kind of summer programs they have for kids lined up this year. Cameron thinks he is too old for this, but he will go :)

I had to take Cameron to soccer tryouts tonight. Even though he is on the team, he still needs to show up. Hopefully we will have enough boys for a decent team, since we are moving up an age group in the fall.
